Export or Delete Data
Last updated September 28, 2026
Export a family copy
- Open Grown-ups.
- Sign in with the same parent Google account that owns the family.
- Choose Export family data. The browser saves encrypted progress locally while the server verifies two matching passes over the family's profiles, privacy settings, current and revoked devices, play records, totals, progress, goals, rankings, and ledger history. If a reload or connection problem interrupts the export, sign in again and choose Export to resume during its seven-day session.
- When the app says the verified export is ready, choose Download verified export. You can choose Download again for 30 minutes if the browser does not save the complete JSON Lines file.
The archive is reconciled at the boundary between its two matching passes; it is not a snapshot frozen when you first press Export. If family data changes during verification, the app safely restarts the attempt. Locking the Grown-ups tools removes locally saved export progress from that browser.
Delete a kid profile
In the parent dashboard, use the delete control on that kid's card and confirm. The profile is removed from public rankings immediately and its connected devices are revoked. Records needed to complete and audit deletion are then deleted or anonymized according to the Privacy Policy.
Delete a family
Choose Request family deletion in the Family data panel and complete both confirmations. We aim to complete verified deletion or anonymization within 30 days. A limited request/audit record may be retained when required to demonstrate that the request was fulfilled or to meet legal obligations.
Guest browsers
An unclaimed guest belongs to one anonymous Firebase identity. Clearing site data removes the local sign-in and can make its cloud history inaccessible. If you want to preserve guest points first, connect the browser to a kid profile. For help with an inaccessible guest, use Support from that browser before clearing it.
Need help?
Use the verified contact on our Support page. We may ask the parent to sign in or complete another reasonable verification step. Never email a password, pairing secret, or a child's sensitive information.
